The Warthog from schleich® WILD LIFE is a mammal that lives in Africa and primarily eats roots, tubers and berries. It has wart-shaped growths under the eyes and above the nose. They aren't actually warts but rather particularly thick skin that protects the animal from serious injury during fights. The tusks are used to defend against lions, hyenas, leopards and wild dogs.
A wolverine can weigh up to 20 kg and may grow to 45 cm in height. With its 15 cm tail it can measure up to 1 m in length. Its forehead and cheeks and a broad stripe from the shoulders to the base of the tail are yellowish white in colour. The rest of the coat is brown. Since the wolverine moves slowly and very noisily, almost blundering, in summer it is not capable of living from hunted prey, instead eating carrion and berries. In the winter on the other hand the wolverine can barely be heard on the snow-covered ground. It has a great advantage over other large animals because, thanks to its broad feet, it hardly sinks into the snow at all. At this time of year its diet contains a wide range of prey animals.
Wild boar have tusks that can inflict painful wounds on enemies like wolves and bears. In summer, wild boar like to wallow in mud to cool down. It also helps protect them from insect stings.

Everything will be OK!The adventure vehicle is once again on the road in the jungle. This time, Ranger Tom has to help a little Asian elephant baby. Fortunately, the powerful off-roader can cope with the rough terrain in the jungle. On site, he parks a little away from the baby elephant and fires the net cannon on the roof. He skillfully throws a net over the animal to catch it. Next, he lifts the boy onto the Truck bed using the cable winch. There, he can examine and treat it in peace. Apparently, the little one hurt his leg. Ranger Tom carefully puts on a bandage. All done! Now the baby elephant can go back to her herd.

The little raccoon with the thick grey fur and the bushy black and white curled tail is just too cute. The cute black face mask is particularly adorable. It makes him look like a little robber. That's quite fitting, because the curious raccoon likes to go exploring at night – always on the lookout for something edible.
The solid-built Fjord horse gelding examines his surroundings with an alert gaze. He pricks up his small, pointed ears and listens. Can he hear someone coming across the field? He tilts his head thoughtfully. No, it was probably nothing – just the wind rustled the leaves. It's a pity really, because the sociable gelding with its distinctive stripe on his back and the two-tone mane really likes company. Maybe he'll just trot over to the Fjord Horse mare (sold separately) for a little chat.
