Rapa Nui - Easter Island - New York Puzzle Company

Located in a remote island in Polynesia, Easter Island is most famously recognized for its monumental statues called moai. About 900 of these massive stone figures are believed to be created by the islands inhabitants during the 13th-16th centuries.
Rapa Nui mysterious moai statues stand in silence but speak volumes about the achievements of their creators. Most scholars suspect the moai were created to honour ancestors, chiefs, and other important personages, however, no written and little oral history exists on the island, so it's impossible to be certain.
