The Super Hornet is an extensively redesigned version of the current F / A-18 C currently in service which is set to succeed within a short time due to the abandonment, for economic reasons, of the planned A-12. Given the validity of the Hornet, it seemed convenient to develop this new variant much more performing in terms of autonomy and load capacity, the only real weaknesses of the current machine. Naturally, the Super Hornet makes use of the latest construction technologies through the use of composite materials.
